Petit Brabancon is a new 5-member super band formed in 2021. The band consists of Kyo (Vo / DIR EN GREY), yukihiro (Dr / L’Arc-en-Ciel), Miya (G / MUCC), antz (G / Tokyo Shoegazer, ex. acid android), and Hiroshi Takamatsu (B / THE NOVEMBERS) – all top Japanese musicians and fixtures in the J-Rock scene, each member has had a long and successful career in their respective bands, as well as a lot of experience playing outside of Japan.

The band was finalized when yukihiro was the last member to accept Kyo`s invitation to join, and in December 2021, they performed for the first time on stage at the famous Nippon Budokan (10,000 capacity).The band’s name is derived from the rebellious dog breed of the same name, which is small and ragged, but barks as hard as it fights!

Of their new venture, the superstar members of Petit Brabancon describe their sound as “extreme,” with a thrilling and broad oeuvre of diverse songs that combines the heavy aesthetic of 90s new metal, the common genre that has united the band, and the skilled creativity that each of the five members possesses.

Some of their compositions are wild and excel at rapid velocities, while others give the illusion of swimming within an abyssal world of distorted guitars and electronic sounds. Moreover, the band certainly does not shy away from crafting loud stadium anthems that roar as loudly as the fans that cheer them on! The range of Petit Brabancon`s sharp musicality in their songs is wide – but at the core of their music, the unique individuality, passion and craftsmanship of each of its members is combined to make something unstoppable.
